Weddings
Hire our vessels for your special day. Tailored packages can be arranged for your day or evening celebration. Two example package deals are detailed on our wedding page
Conferences
Our vessels provide the ideal venue with a difference for any conference in Southampton. Available static in Ocean Village Marina, or slow cruising around the local area. The hire of conference equipment, such as flip charts or TV and videos can be arranged through us, at reasonable rates. Click here for more information on Conferences.
Client/Employee Entertainment
Our vessels are often used to entertain either current or prospective clients by taking them out cruising around the Solent and Southampton Waters. We have several customers who treat their employees to a function onboard with food and a disco as a thanks for their efforts.
Yacht Racing
Events such as COWES WEEK and the start and end of ROUND THE WORLD RACES prove to be popular times for corporate outings. Our vessels have large open decks for excellent viewing of all types of yacht racing. We have even been used as a Start/Finish boat during yacht racing. Our smaller vessel was used in the Youth World Championship Yacht Racing as a spectator boat for all the coaches from countries all around the globe.
Product Launches
We are able to accommodate most requests, including the launch of new car models whereby vehicles are craned onto the open deck space of our vessel. We had the “Ford KA” launched on the “Ocean Scene”, while the car was located on our top deck.
Private Parties
Our boats are available to hire for Private Parties
throughout the year. All vessels are heated and hold fully licensed bars. Catering can be arranged to suit specific requirements and entertainment can be provided, from a DJ or band, through to magicians and comedians.
Depending on the type of charter - 18th birthdays, etc - a refundable damage
deposit of £300 and/or charges for supplying security may be applicable and is at sole discretion of Blue Funnel.
School Parties / Proms
Owing to the nature of such events (whereby passengers are unquestionably under 18) we only operate 'soft' bars - NO alcohol - this includes teachers and/or accompanying adults.
